Bria Joshua
Bria Joshua is the founding member of B. Josh Law Co., LLC, a boutique law firm proudly rooted in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her practice is dedicated to providing thoughtful, detail-oriented legal services in real estate law, estate planning, successions, civil matters, and notary services.

Before launching her firm, Ms. Joshua served as a judicial law clerk at the Louisiana Supreme Court in the chambers of the Honorable Chief Justice Bernette Joshua Johnson. Her clerkship provided her with invaluable insight into complex legal analysis, judicial decision-making, and Louisiana's unique civil law system.

Ms. Joshua holds a title insurance producer license, is a licensed real estate appraiser trainee, and a commissioned notary public in Louisiana. She brings hands-on experience in title review, lien analysis, title curative work, and property law, making her particularly skilled in handling real estate transactions, successions involving immovable property, and judicial sales. As a legal advisor in the civil division of the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office, she provided legal oversight on judicial sales and property auctions, further sharpening her expertise in foreclosures and lien resolution.

A proud alumna of Xavier University of Louisiana, Ms. Joshua earned her undergraduate degree on a full vocal music scholarship. She later received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center (SULC), where she was awarded the SULC Board of Trustees merit-based scholarship and served on the Board of Student Advisors. She was a teaching assistant in legal writing and analysis to B.K. Agnihotri Endowed Professor Angela A. Allen-Bell.

During law school, Ms. Joshua also interned with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, reporting to the managing family law attorney. She was selected for the Texas Legislative Internship Program, serving as a legislative aide to State Representative Ron Reynolds during the 85th Texas Legislative Session. The role strengthened her advocacy and policy skills.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Joshua was appointed an Administrative Law Judge for the Louisiana Workforce Commission, where she presided over unemployment insurance benefit hearings and issued decisions on behalf of the agency.

Ms. Joshua’s diverse legal background—spanning judicial, legislative, and administrative roles—positions her as a trusted advocate for clients navigating both everyday and extraordinary legal challenges.
With deep New Orleans roots and a commitment to community, she brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every matter she handles.
